Looking for gear safety bypass switch

    Hi folks,

    The gear safety bypass switch on my 1983 m20J is broken. My mechanic has been trying to source the part for many months now with no success. Any chance you folks might be able to produce it or point me in the right direction?

    I was told any of the following part numbers would work:

    DLB2141W01-L3C, SB1DDX492-2, 940085-501 (Gear <span class=”term-highlighted”>Safety</span> By-Pass Retrofit)

    Adi,

    This happened to our M20J a few years back. No luck from Mooney. I reached out to a few salvage yards and was successful. Mooney acknowledged, back then, that there was a problem with getting the part and they were “working on it.” Good luck in your endeavor!
