Mooney: The Symbol of Performance™

Mooney pilots are confident pilots. That’s why every new Mooney aircraft sale includes an initial/transition flight-training course, recognized by the FAA for meeting the agency’s new industry training standards (FITS). For every Mooney customer, there is a four-day course to teach to your level of skill and proficiency. It includes two days of systems review, a cockpit resource trainer for procedural training, two days of flight training in your airplane and a final stage check for your flight home.

Conducted at our training center in San Antonio, Texas, our flight-training program also includes ongoing training designed for VFR and IFR pilots who want to remain up-to-date on their current aircraft or transition to a later Mooney aircraft. The courses are FAA-approved and encompass Mooney aircraft systems operation, aircraft performance and emergency procedures.
