Mooney Makes Its Imprint at AirVenture 2007
Mooney Airplane Company again had a prominent presence at the annual Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, July 23-29, 2007, emphasizing, speed, performance, and customer loyalty. Highlighting Mooney’s exhibit was models of the world’s fastest piston singles, the Ovation2 GX, Ovation3 and Acclaim.
The 10th Annual Mooney caravan, made up of nearly 40 Mooney planes, arrived from Madison, WI on Sunday evening to kick off the show with a barbeque at their campsite. On Wednesday, July 25, Wisconsin native and NASCAR Champion Matt Kenseth, owner of one of the first Acclaims to enter service, was on site to sign autographs and pose for pictures with prospects and fans. “EAA AirVenture is always an exciting event for Mooney,” said David Copeland, vice president of sales and marketing. “We see a significant number of our Mooney owners and have the opportunity to interact with prospects from around the world during the week." |
