Rick Neely who joined Mooney Airplane Company in February 2005 as Domestic Sales Manager, has been selected as Mooney's Director of Sales. He is responsible for oversight and support of Mooney's network of Mooney Team Representatives (MTRs) and International Mooney Team Representatives (IMTRs) from the company's headquarters in Kerrville, Texas. Prior to joining Mooney, Neely managed his own automotive service business for ten years and gained management experience in the
automotive sales industry. He has earned credit towards degrees in both criminal justice and aviation science from Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas.
Neely holds commerical, multi-engine and instrument ratings, and has logged over 2,000 hours, more than 700 of those in long body Mooney's. He owns his own Mooney Ovation. For over 14 years, he has served as a reserve deputy for the
Burnet County Sheriff's Office.
