An industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in commercial and general aviation, Pete Wolak joined Mooney in 2007 as Vice President of Customer Service. He is responsible for the overall management of Mooney’s Customer Service organization, including oversight of the firm’s field service engineering, warranty administration, maintenance training, spare parts inventory, the factory service facility and worldwide network of authorized service centers. Prior to coming to Mooney, his most recent assignment was at Pilatus Business Aircraft, where he led a team that was recognized by industry operator surveys in both Professional Pilot magazine and Aviation International News as the #1 Product Support organization in its segment. Pete is a 1988 graduate of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering. He began his career in aviation in 1986 with People Express and Continental Airlines, serving as a customer service representative for three years, while still in college. After graduating, he progressed through the airline’s ranks to the position of CFM56 Senior Propulsion Engineer by 1997 before being named Project Manager/ Engineering. In April of 2000, he was named Vice President of Customer Programs at Pilatus Business Aircraft in Broomfield, Colorado. He moved up to the position of Vice President of Customer Service in October of 2002, holding that slot until joining Mooney. He and his wife, Kathryn, are the parents of three children.
Barry Hodkin, a native of the United Kingdom, is a Fellow of the UK’s Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. He brings extensive experience of both finance and international manufacturing, having previously worked for such large multinationals as Rolls Royce, Bobcat (Ingersoll Rand) and Case Corporation. Hodkin’s 27-year industrial experience includes serving as finance director and group controller. His general management roles range from plant manager to executive vice president.
As Director of Mooney’s Marketing Communications, Cyndi Roth is responsible for overseeing the company’s branding, strategic planning, advertising, trade show activities, media relations and corporate communications. An industry veteran, she graduated from Kansas University’s William Allen White School of Journalism in 1979. She began her career at Wichita’s Sullivan, Higdon & Sink Advertising in 1981, working as a Media Assistant and, eventually, Media Director for accounts such as Cessna, Learjet, Jet Electronics, Combs Gates, Pratt & Lambert, PPG and the Coleman Company. She moved to Pizza Hut, Inc. in 1993, where she spent two years as Media Services Manager before joining WI/SE Partnership for Growth in 1995 as Director of Marketing and Support Services. In 1997 she was among the original employees hired at Raytheon TravelAir, a start-up fractional ownership enterprise. She moved over to Raytheon Aircraft Company as Advertising Manager in 1998, where she remained until joining Mooney Airplane Company in 2004 as Marketing Manager. She was named Director of Marketing Communications in 2006. She currently heads the company’s Wichita, Kansas office.
Rick Neely, who joined Mooney Airplane Company in February 2005 as Domestic Sales Manager, has been selected as Mooney’s Director of Sales. He is responsible for the oversight and support of Mooney’s network of Mooney Team Representatives (MTRs) and International Mooney Team Representatives (IMTRs) from the company’s headquarters in Kerrville, Texas. Prior to joining Mooney, Neely managed his own automotive service business for ten years and gained management experience in the automotive sales industry. He has earned credits in both Criminal Justice and Aviation Science at Central Texas College in Killeen. Neely holds commercial, multi-engine and instrument ratings, and has logged over 2000 hrs, more than 700 of those in long body Mooney’s. He owns his own Mooney Ovation. For over 14 years he has served as a reserve deputy for the Burnet County Sheriff’s Office.
